Description
Hand-harvested from Apis dorsata wild rock bees in the forests of Haridwar, Dehradun & Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
What is Wild Forest Honey?
Wild forest honey is raw, unheated honey collected directly from wild rock bee (Apis dorsata) colonies deep inside untouched forest regions — not from managed, sugar-fed commercial hives. HaemHoney’s Wild Forest Honey is harvested from the forest belts of Haridwar, Dehradun, and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, where Apis dorsata — the giant rock bee — builds open-air combs on cliffs and tall trees and forages freely across wild, multifloral terrain.
Because the bees are not confined to a single crop, the honey carries a rich, complex flavour profile of nectar from dozens of native forest flowers — giving it a darker colour, a deeper aroma, and a nutrient density that single-source farm honey simply cannot match.
This is not the same as regular shop-bought honey. Regular honey is typically heated and ultra-filtered for shelf clarity, which strips out the natural enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants.
HaemHoney Wild Forest Honey undergoes minimal filtration only — no heating, no processing — so what reaches your spoon is exactly what the bees made.
Forest Honey Price
| Pack Size | Price | MRP | You Save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500g | ₹729 | ₹1,100 | 34% |
| 1100g | ₹989 | ₹1,799 | 45% |
That works out at roughly ₹13/day for the 500g pack and ₹9/day for the 1100g pack, based on a daily 1–2 teaspoon (≈20g) serving.
Why Choose Raw Forest Honey Over Sugar or Processed Honey
Most people reach for sugar, syrups, or artificial sweeteners in their tea, porridge, or smoothies for a quick hit of sweetness — but these provide momentary sweetness with no real nutrition. HaemHoney Wild Forest Honey is a simple swap that adds something back:
✔ Raw, unheated, unprocessed — minimally filtered only, never pasteurised
✔ Naturally multifloral — sourced from wild forest flora across Haridwar, Dehradun & Rishikesh
✔ Preserves natural enzymes, antioxidants & pollen — which heat and over-filtration destroy
✔ No added sugar, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients
✔ Naturally crystallises — a sign of purity and minimal processing, not a defect
Raw Forest Honey Benefits
- Supports immunity & digestion — natural enzymes and antioxidants support everyday wellness
- A lower-impact alternative to refined sugar — for tea, coffee, porridge, and smoothies
- Soothes the throat — traditionally used for cough and seasonal discomfort
- Naturally thick and aromatic — unfiltered texture, not thinned or clarified
- Supports skin health — can be used topically thanks to its natural antibacterial properties
HaemHoney is a food product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. These are traditional and general wellness uses, not medical claims.
Why Does Forest Honey Crystallise?
Real raw honey naturally thickens and crystallises over time — this is one of the clearest signs that it has not been heated or over-processed. Commercial honey is heated to remain liquid and “shelf pretty”, which destroys the enzymes that make raw honey valuable in the first place.
If your HaemHoney crystallises, it has not gone bad — it is doing exactly what real honey does. Simply place the jar in warm (not hot) water below 40°C to return it to a liquid state if preferred.
How to Use Wild Forest Honey
- Directly: 1–2 teaspoons (~20g), or stirred into warm water (below 40°C to protect natural enzymes)
- In daily drinks: Add to tea, herbal infusions, or coffee instead of sugar
- At breakfast: Drizzle over porridge, muesli, or breakfast bowls
- In smoothies: A natural sweetener that blends in without a sugar crash
- On skin: Apply a thin layer as a natural, anti-inflammatory face mask for moisture and antibacterial support
There is no strict ritual — just one spoon daily as part of your routine.
Wild Forest Honey vs Regular Honey
| HaemHoney Wild Forest Honey | Regular Commercial Honey |
|---|---|
| Wild Apis dorsata bees, forests of Uttarakhand | Managed hives, single-crop farms |
| Multifloral — dozens of wild forest flowers | Monofloral (e.g., mustard, sunflower) |
| Minimally filtered, never heated | Heated & heavily filtered |
| Naturally crystallises | Stays artificially liquid |
| Enzymes & antioxidants largely intact | Mostly destroyed by heat |
| No added sugar | Sometimes adulterated with sugar syrup |
Sourced from the Forests of Uttarakhand
HaemHoney’s Wild Forest Honey is harvested from the forest belts surrounding Haridwar, Dehradun, and Rishikesh — home to Apis dorsata, the giant rock bee native to the Himalayan foothills. These bees build large, open-air combs on cliffs and tall trees, migrating seasonally across the region’s forests in search of wild blooms.
Because Apis dorsata colonies cannot be domesticated or boxed like regular farm bees, every harvest is a direct hive-to-jar product of the wild forest itself — not a controlled, manufactured process.
